A Halliburton official has confirmed that “some Halliburton personnel reductions” have occurred at its facility in Grand Junction.
District manager Larry Kent said Thursday in a news release that the provider of services and products to the energy industry continues to “work hard to minimize personnel reductions” but that “it simply is not business as usual in the current economic environment.” Kent declined to specify the number of layoffs.
