GREELEY — Police called off a hunt for a home-invasion suspect after the alleged victim admitted to stabbing himself in the abdomen with a screwdriver.
Police spokesman Lt. Steve Nelson say they’re asking for a psychological evaluation.
Nelson says the man underwent emergency surgery Friday, the day of the alleged attack, to remove the screwdriver and repair the man’s internal injuries.
