TULSA, Okla.—Tulsa airport officials say a Delta commercial flight flying from Atlanta to Denver made an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport after a passenger had trouble breathing.
Airport spokeswoman Alexis Higgins says the flight landed in Tulsa about 1:30 p.m. Sunday and an ambulance crew took the woman to a local hospital.
Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman Tina Wells says a 20-year-old woman was taken from the plane to St. John Hospital in serious condition.
Airport officials say the plane continued to Denver after the woman was taken to the hospital.
A Delta spokeswoman said she could not immediately comment on the incident late Sunday.
