For the second time in two seasons, Pierce Johnson of Class 3A Faith Christian has pitched a perfect game. In one game of a doubleheader sweep last weekend against Peak to Peak, Johnson retired 15 consecutive batters, striking out nine in five innings in a 12-0 victory. In a 2008 game, the right-hander fanned 14 in a 7-0, seven-inning perfecto against Bishop Machebeuf. Johnson has signed with Missouri State.
