Cheryl Wise estimates that she’s got 3,000 prom dresses to give away this weekend to high school girls who need them, so get ready to shop. For 10 years, Wise has hosted the Prom Dress Exchange at her Copper Fields Events Chateau, and this year it’s going to be open both Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any girl needing a dress is invited to attend. There is no charge for admission, but they’re requesting a $10 donation per dress. The money helps cover the costs of cleaning and mending gowns and organizing the sale.
