A series of thefts from recreation centers in Centennial and Northglenn may soon be solved as a result of excellent surveillance photographs recently taken of a suspect, authorities said today.

During the thefts, lockers in the recreation centers were broken into and items taken, including wallets and other personal items.

One of the victim’s stolen credit cards was used at a Best Buy in Lone Tree to buy a television set and computer.

Photographs show the suspect – with short hair and a goatee – buying the television and computer and leaving the store with the merchandise in a grocery basket.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office at 303-795-4711.

Authorities say that anyone recognizing the suspect should not contact or physically confront the man.
