A $1 million grant from the Anschutz Foundation will support eye-disease research at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine’s ophthalmology department. The money also will help the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute treat more patients with glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy.
The Anschutz family has donated more than $100 million to the university’s Anschutz Medical Campus.
