NEW YORK — Former American International Group chief executive Maurice “Hank” Greenberg can’t hold off a suit by the insurer over claims he misappropriated millions of AIG shares, an appeals court ruled.
The Appellate Division, First Department, in New York affirmed Thursday a ruling by state Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos in Manhattan denying Greenberg’s request to delay the lawsuit until a federal case is decided.
