The state Supreme Court plans to announce Monday whether it considers Gov. Bill Ritter’s mill-levy freeze constitutional.
On its website Friday, the court listed the case as one of three it will issue rulings on.
Passed in 2007, the freeze holds property tax rates in place when they would otherwise fall, leading to more money for school districts and cash savings for the state.
Hundreds of millions of dollars the state has already spent or has budgeted to spend hang in the balance.
