LUBBOCK, Texas—Adam Bailey homered, doubled and drove in four runs and Nebraska earned a doubleheader split with a 10-1 victory against Texas Tech on Saturday night.

The Red Raiders (7-10, 1-1 Big 12) won the first game 16-8 behind Taylor Ashby, who was 4-for-5 with three RBIs.

In the second game, Bailey turned a 1-0 deficit into a 4-1 lead for the Cornhuskers (11-4-1, 1-1). His seventh home run was a two-run shot in the fourth inning, and he had a two-run double in the fifth.

Jordan Roualdes (2-1) held Tech to five hits and a run over eight innings. Tech starter Louis Head (0-1) walked five and gave up three runs in 4 1/3 innings.

Tech’s Brian McCloud (2-2) won the opener despite allowing two runs in one-third of an inning. Chad Bettis pitched two scoreless innings for his second save.

Eric Rose (1-1) allowed two earned runs without retiring a batter.
