Where’s the (corned) beef?

JusCookin’s restaurant, Simms Street at Eighth Place, Lakewood; 303-205-0123,

2,700 pounds.

Steve and Char Modlich cooked more than a ton of corned beef they’ll serve today through St. Patrick’s Day. The brine-preserved meat is associated with Ireland, the biggest exporter of canned corned beef until 1825. It goes fast at JusCookin’s. Last year, Char Modlich says she only “had a small bowl of corned beef left over.”
