Whether it’s for fishing or egg-taking, spring is for walleye. Which brings us to the annual “All Eyes on Walleyes” Expo sponsored by the Colorado Walleye Association, a daylong information exchange designed to produce maximum results once the season gets into full swing.
The March 22 event at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds features a number of expert anglers, along with Paul Winkle, a Colorado Division of Wildlife biologist who directs fishing operations at such popular metro impoundments as Chatfield, Cherry Creek and Aurora reservoirs.
The fairgrounds is located at West Sixth Avenue at Indiana Street, and the event runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
