GRAND JUNCTION — The driver of a semitrailer hauling coal is dead after his truck collided with a pickup carrying hydrochloric acid in Mesa County.
Trooper David Hall said the crash occurred about 8:45 a.m. Monday on Colorado 139, 18 miles north of Loma.
The names of the drivers weren’t released.
