LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Kentucky museum that rejects evolution is making room for an odd guest: Charles Darwin.

A new exhibit at the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum argues that Darwin’s theory of natural selection can coexist with the belief that life began just a few thousand years ago.

That might seem odd to many who have watched the battles between evolution scientists and creationists.

Museum founder Ken Ham says he wants to show that creationists accept natural selection — but that doesn’t mean they accept evolution theory.

Ham says the new exhibit features live blind cave fish and models of birds and bacteria.

Darwin argued that randomly occurring traits can give species a survival advantage, and those traits can be passed on to future generations.
