Projects to be funded with the first $98.5 million spent under the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) Act by county. Some projects had already been partially funded by school districts:
Alamosa: Two new elementary schools to replace three schools in Alamosa RE-11J district; new pre-kindergarten through 12th grade school to replace two schools now located on separate campuses in Sangre De Cristo RE-22J district.
Costilla: New pre-kindergarten through 12th grade school in Centennial R-1 district.
El Paso: New elementary school in Edison 54 JT district.
Logan: Junior-senior high renovation and addition in Buffalo RE-4 District.
Morgan: Remodel core area and upgrade gym and athletic facilities in Weldon Valley RE-20(J).
Prowers: Partial roof replacement in Holly RE-3 district.
Pueblo: Final phase of fire and security improvements in Pueblo City 60 district.
Rio Grande: New junior and senior high school and elementary school renovation in Sargent RE-33J district.
Routt: Replace HVAC with renewable technology in South Routt RE 3 district.
Saguache: Roofing and repairs in Mountain Valley RE 1 district.
