SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The state’s first lady, Maria Shriver, is taking a page from first lady Michelle Obama in announcing plans for an edible garden on the grounds of the state Capitol. Shriver says the garden will demonstrate the important role of food and how it gets to the family dinner table. It will also emphasize water conservation.
