Xcel Energy on Tuesday introduced two new programs to help reduce home energy use and lower energy bills.
The Energy Star New Homes program offers home builders incentives to offset some of the costs of making energy-efficiency improvements. The Home Performance with Energy Star program offers energy audits in existing homes and incentives to customers to install recommended measures.
