The Cable Center at the University of Denver on Wednesday named seven industry leaders to the Cable Hall of Fame.
The inductees are Char Beales, president and chief executive, CTAM; Matt Blank, chairman and chief executive, Showtime Networks; Jim Cownie, co-founder and past president, Heritage Communications; Bob Hughes, chairman, Prime II Investments; Tom Rutledge, chief operating officer, Cablevision; Bernard Shaw, anchor emeritus, CNN; and Tom Wheeler, managing director, Core Capital Partners.
They will be honored Oct. 27 at the 12th annual Cable Hall of Fame celebration.
