AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—For the second time in three seasons, the Air Force football team will play 12 consecutive games without a bye.

The Mountain West Conference released its 2009 schedule Thursday, completing the Falcons’ slate, which includes only Saturday games.

Air Force opens the season at home against Nicholls State of the Football Championship Subdivision on Sept. 5. After traveling to Minnesota to face the Gophers on Sept. 12, the Falcons will open their league schedule at New Mexico on Sept. 19.

After that is a home game against San Diego State and then the first leg of the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy competition at Navy on Oct. 3.

Air Force then plays four straight conference games before facing Army on Nov. 7. The Falcons close the season with a home game against UNLV on Nov. 14 and a game at BYU on Nov. 21.

Nov. 14—UNLV, 4 p.m.

Nov. 21—at BYU, 1:30 p.m.
