It was hard to find any games played Friday within the border, but in Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs’ boys lacrosse team improved to 5-0 with a 10-4 victory over Grand Junction’s co-op team, the Lightning.

No. 1 Mullen goes down:

The top-ranked Mullen Mustangs boys lacrosse team, fresh off a victory over Cherry Creek last week, dropped its first game to California’s St. Ignatius Prep, 16-7 on Friday.
