EL PASO COUNTY — Two unrelated motorcycle crashes in El Paso County left three people dead Sunday.
Craig J. Emmons, 36, of Chipeta Springs was killed when he crashed into a guardrail on U.S. 24 about 5 miles west of Manitou Springs at 6:12 p.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.
He was not wearing a helmet, said Trooper David Hall.
A man and a woman were killed about 3:30 p.m. in Colorado Springs when their motorcycle rear-ended a van on North Circle Drive near Palmer Park Boulevard, according to police.
Their names were not released Sunday night.
