COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Two people are dead after the motorcycle they were riding hit the back of a van in Colorado Springs.
Police say a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were on a Suzuki motorcycle at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday when the operator lost control and skidded into the rear of a Chevrolet van.
Authorities say the passenger was ejected. The motorcycle and the driver hit the van.
Both motorcycle riders were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators aren’t sure whether they were wearing helmets.
The occupants of the van were not hurt.
The names of the victims have not been released.
