Getting your player ready...
A big thank you went out Monday to community members who helped bring back a popular ice rink.
The Mountain States Ice Arena in Greeley was shut down for two weeks in January because of high levels of carbon monoxide.
Many people from the community helped raise $6,000 to update the ventilation system.
Former NHL player Alain Lemieux was on hand Monday to help coach children there as part of a clinic.
“It’s pretty special having him out here,” Nate Whittal with Renegades Hockey said of Lemieux. “Now that it’s running, it’s nice to be back on the ice. It’s cool.”
The hockey clinic runs through April 2.
