Denver police today arrested a 25-year-old Colorado Springs woman accused of shooting a man in the face with a shotgun last week in a dispute over a car.
Margo P. Eck was identified and arrested by Denver police detectives at a hotel during an unrelated case this afternoon, Information on that investigation was not released.
“It was just good old-fashioned police work,” said Colorado Springs police Lt. David Whitlock.
Dillion Mohrbutter, 22, survived the blast to his face on March 23. He has since been released from the hospital.
The argument happened in a home in the 1500 block of Diana Lane in Colorado Springs. Police found the shotgun at the home.
Eck was arrested on a warrant for attempted first-degree murder.
