ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—The vice chairman of Englewood-based Dish Network Corp. has resigned, but plans to retain his seat on the company’s board and his position as a senior adviser to Dish.
Dish Network disclosed the departure of Carl Vogel in a regulatory filing dated Friday, but which was not posted on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Web site until Tuesday.
The resignation took effect Monday.
Vogel also stepped down from the board of Englewood-based EchoStar Corp. and as a senior adviser to EchoStar and its subsidiaries.
No reason was given.
EchoStar appointed R. Stanton Dodge to fill the vacancy on its board.
Dodge is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of both EchoStar and Dish Network.
