LONGMONT, Colo.—Qwest Communications says it could take days to restore telephone and Internet service to about 2,000 customers in Longmont after a contractor cut through two cables.
The cables were cut Wednesday.
Qwest spokeswoman Johnna Hoff says crews worked through the night to determine the extent of the damage and will work around-the-clock until service is restored.
