BERLIN — A researcher who may have been exposed to the deadly Ebola virus was declared healthy and released from isolation at a German hospital Thursday, having been spared the horrific symptoms of the disease.
The woman had accidentally pricked her finger three weeks ago with a needle used to inject Ebola into mice. She was given an experimental vaccine that had never been tested on humans.
