JACKSON, Miss. — Another barrage of storms hit the Southeast on Thursday, spawning possible tornadoes. A passenger train hit a fallen tree, injuring the conductor, and at least one person was injured as lightning struck a home. Flood warnings as well as tornado watches and warnings were in effect around the region.
