The Nuggets will wear their green jerseys again tonight, for the last time this season, as part of the NBA’s Green Week, a league-wide campaign to generate awareness for protecting the environment. They debuted the jerseys Thursday against Utah.
After tonight’s game the jerseys will be auctioned off by Kroenke Sports Enterprises, with details to be determined.
“The only thing I don’t like about them is they remind me of the Celtics,” Nuggets coach George Karl said. “I think it’s a great week. I think it’s going to be a great thing for our country.
“I think it’s a movement that a lot of people are going to get involved with. I’m glad the NBA is stepping forward and taking a stand on it.”
