The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host a variety of workshops throughout Colorado during April and May to provide training for watercraft inspection and decontamination services involving aquatic nuisance species.
Workshops will be held 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on April 28 at the Mesa County Fairgrounds in Grand Junction and May 5 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden.
Sampling and training schools are set for 4 p.m., April 15 at the Boulder Library, 4:30 p.m., April 16 at Chatfield State Park and 4:30 p.m., April 17 at the Lakewood Federal Center. A watercraft inspection and decontamination certification course is set for Thursday and Friday at the Larimer County Visitor Center at Carter Lake, April 13-14 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, April 29-30 at the Mesa County Fairgrounds, May 6-7 at Blue Mesa Reservoir and May 12-13 at the U.S. Forest Service facility in Granby.
