COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—No charges or arrests have been made in an overnight shooting at a Colorado Springs apartment that killed a man.
Police say 19-year-old Adam Hennessey of Colorado Springs died when a gun he and a male acquaintance were handling discharged, striking Hennessey in the arm and abdomen. Hennessey died at a hospital shortly after midnight Tuesday.
Police say no information will be immediately released about the acquaintance because he’s not been arrested and the investigation is ongoing. The district attorney’s office will determine whether charges are warranted.
