KEARNEY, Neb.—A star wrestler for Kearney High School has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a girl.
Nineteen-year-old Tim Crocker is charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault. The charge alleges sexual penetration by an adult 19 or older with a person between the ages of 12 and 16, which is illegal in Nebraska.
Court records say the alleged incident occurred in Kearney in March.
Crocker won the Class A 125-pound championship in February and is the school’s all-time leader in victories.
Crocker, who is out on bail, could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted.
