GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Two Mesa State College students are hospitalized after a weekend rollover that killed another student.

Authorities say 20-year-old Kathryn Ball of Evergreen is listed in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center, where she was airlifted after being taken to Vail Valley Medical Center. Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Ludwig of Berthoud is in serious condition. Neither wore a seat belt.

The Colorado State Patrol says 19-year-old Enrique Gutierrez of Mancos was driving a Toyota 4Runner with three passengers when he lost control during a tire blow out Saturday. The SUV skidded into the median and rolled 2 1/2 times.

He had been wearing a seat belt.

Another Mesa State student, 20-year-old Corrigan Conroy of Grand Junction, suffered minor injuries.
