COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Police have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of manslaughter in a fatal shooting last week at an apartment in south-central Colorado Springs.
Julian Wheeler of Colorado Springs is suspected in the death of 19-year-old Adam Hennessey.
Officers responded to the shooting shortly after 12 a.m. Wednesday. Police said last week that Hennessey and a male acquaintance were handling a gun when it went off, shooting Hennessey in the arm and abdomen.
Hennessey, of Colorado Springs, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
