This afternoon’s commute in the area of Arapahoe and Jordan roads will be a soggy mess.
A water-main break has shut the eastbound right lane of Arapahoe Road and the left turn lane from westbound Arapahoe to southbound Jordan Road, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The closures will clog traffic in the area, especially during rush hour, and repairs may not be completed until sometime tomorrow.
Major delays are expected, CDOT warns, and drivers are “strongly” advised to take alternate routes.
