A fire that destroyed a mobile home in Broomfield last night has been determined to be arson.

North Metro Fire Rescue District got a call about 11 p.m. Wednesday and responded to Cimarron Village at 12205 N. Perry St.

Firefighters found a mobile home with “thick white smoke coming from all sides,” the district said in a news release.

The fire was contained to the trailer, which was destroyed. The resident wasn’t home, and no injuries were reported.

Fire investigators determined the blaze was intentionally set. Any with information is asked to call Broomfield police Detective Mike Svela at 303-464-5723 or the arson hotline at 1-877-89-ARSON.
