A man already serving 112 years in state prison will be charged in a 1995, in which he is accused of tying a college student in Denver to a bed and raping her repeatedly.
George Vallez, 50, has been charged with 14 counts of first-degree sexual assault and other offenses in the attack in the 2200 block of High Street.
He allegedly entered through a window.
Cold case detectives linked him to the attack on the then-21-year-old woman.
He is currently serving a sentence on a 1997 break-in and rape in Denver.
He will be formally charged in an April 29 hearing in Denver County Court.
