Firefighters responding to a car fire early this morning in Larimer County found a body near the vehicle when they arrived.
The incident happened at about 3:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of County Road 2, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was identified as Thomas Kalvig, 36, of Longmont. Larimer County coroner’s office conducted an autopsy, but the cause of death awaits toxicology and further investigation.
The “suspicious” incident is under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
