DENVER—Gov. Bill Ritter has ordered U.S. and Colorado flags to fly at half-staff at state and federal buildings on Monday, the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings.
Two Columbine seniors shot and killed 12 other students and a teacher on April 20, 1999.
In a statement released Friday, Ritter said, “We cannot allow the lessons of this tragedy to fade with the passage of time.”
