DENVER—Authorities say a natural gas leak is the suspected cause of an explosion that leveled a vacant house in Denver.

It happened at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Jewell Avenue.

No injuries were reported, but firefighters say the blast destroyed the 1,000-square-foot house.

KDVR-TV reports that the owner was at the scene and confirmed to police that no one was living in the home.
