Several Jamestown residents called 911 late Monday night to report flooding and a mudslide across Main Street, officials said.
According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, volunteer firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to the calls about 11:25 p.m. and found about a quarter of the street was covered in mud ranging from a few inches to more than a foot deep.
Members of the Boulder Emergency Squad also responded to the town, and shut down the road while crews worked to clear the debris.
Sheriff’s officials said in a news release that the mudslide possibly began near 150 Main St.
Jamestown is about 10 miles northwest of Boulder.
