A man accused in the hit-and-run death of the director of the Lowry Family Center in Montbello will be sentenced on June 11 after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide.
Terroll D. Farries Jr., 26, faces up to six years in prison in the death of Kathy Hill-Young at his 1:30 p.m. sentencing in Denver District Courtroom 12.
Hill-Young, 51, was crossing the street near East 40th Avenue and York Street at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 when she was struck by a Chevy conversion van.
An anonymous tip led Denver police to Farries’ van.
