Lake trout and kokanee aren’t the only attraction at the state’s largest lake. Nate Albers, a Cabela’s employee from Sydney, Neb., was trying for lake trout when he landed this 10-pound brown trout at Blue Mesa Reservoir two weeks ago. The big lake should yield good numbers of lunker lake trout in the weeks ahead.
