Don’t be surprised if the Broncos take a nose tackle and quarterback among their six, second-day draft picks today.
Some sleeper prospects the Broncos like:
Quarterbacks: Stephen McGee, Texas A&M; Rhett Bomar, Sam Houston State; Tom Brandstate, Fresno State; Hunter Cantwell, Louisville.
McGee and Bomar will likely go in third or fourth rounds; Brandstate and Cantwell can be had later.
Nose tackle: Chris Baker, Hampton.
Also watch for TCU center Blake Schlueter as a possibility in the fourth round.
The Broncos may also add depth to receiver and linebacker.
Linebacker: Jasper Brinkley.
