Getting your player ready...

FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State running back Gartrell Johnson has been drafted by San Diego where he’ll be joined by Rams tight end Kory Sperry, who reached an agreement with the Chargers as a college free agent.

CSU says Rams quarterback Billy Farris and running back Kyle Bell also reached free agent deals.

San Diego selected Johnson in the fourth round with the 134th pick overall.

The last time the Rams had a player drafted in the NFL was in 2007, when the Patriots chose Clint Oldenburg.

Farris has a free-agent agreement with Cincinnati. Bell, whose career at CSU was hurt by an ACL injury, has one with Jacksonville.

The University of Colorado had one player drafted. Green Bay selected linebacker Brad Jones in the seventh round.
