Call it new wave, punk, ska, rock, goth or psychobilly. Whatever your flavor, are happy to deliver. And so it was with a resounding “Hell Yeah!” that the excitable and heavily tattooed crowd ate it up at the on Saturday evening.

With fluttering lashes and a wicked grin, Patricia Day clenched her signature upright bass and proceeded to woo the mob with her sultry vocals and coy on-stage banter. Meanwhile, guitarist Kim Nekroman churned out old-school riffs and the occasional back-up vocals while hopping to-and-fro across the stage.

The HorrorPops know how to put on a show. With their freaky toe-tappers like “Walk Like a Zombie” and “Baby Lou Tattoo,” it was no wonder the frenzy didn’t let up until the last minute.
