The move of selected songs playing briefly when hitters step into the batter’s box has filtered down to the prep level of baseball. Most involve the predictable, everything from Metallica and Led Zeppelin to rap and country. However, think Bob Barker and Drew Carey when Cherry Creek’s Max Price steps in to hit. You guessed it, Price takes a turn at bat to the theme of “The Price is Right” game show. While the junior shortstop admits he’s not good at Plinko, he claims it was a logical move. “My last name is Price,” he said. “It tends to lighten me up a little bit.”
