A home in Castle Pines Village sustained significant damage when fire blazed up behind the home and spread to the roof and attic this evening, firefighters said.
The tri-level home in the 3200 block of Country Club Parkway, overlooking Daniels Park Road, caught fire about 6 p.m., said South Metro Fire Fire Rescue spokesman Andy Lyon said.
One person was home but got out safely, he said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
