Amy Stewart’s new volume, “Wicked Plants: A Book of Botanical Atrocities,” is giving us a chill about what might already be planted there. Art imitates life
PlatteForum resident sculptor Joshua Wiener spent two months exploring the relationship between what grows in a garden and what gives its structure. The outcome is the place where landscape and sculpture are bound together in limestone and plants. You can see the concept for yourself at an opening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. May 14, then noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays- Thursdays through June 5.
