ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot is expected to increase to an estimated $77 million for Saturday since no one matched all six of the numbers in the midweek drawing, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
The numbers drawn Wednesday were 6, 19, 36, 50 and 59. The Powerball was 13 and the Power Play was 5.
Tickets matching all five white numbers and the red Powerball would have won or shared the jackpot worth $65.1 million.
A Power Play ticket sold in Louisiana matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million. The top prize in Colorado was $500 each for 28 Power Play tickets that matched other number combinations, Colorado Lottery officials said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
